I Never Asked the Right Things
My high school crush came out to me this morning. It really jolted my whole thought process. When I say crush, we were soo close! Best Friends! To anyone, emotionally, we should have been dating. (Saying “y’all argue like a married couple”) See, we always were acting like we were mad at eachother, but never really were and never knew why. Well, I knew why atleast.
So many times I could have asked, made a move, been with him, and/or fallen in love with him. But now, I’m in a relationship and he’s about to be. What bad timing? I would do anything for him.
We haven’t talked in months and when I finally decided to, this happens! WHAT?! I’m regretting a lot of things now. There could have been something there. We were really close.
Maybe one day. Maybe not. Only time will tell. He finally admitted that he did like me and someday we may could have a chance if things fell in the right place at the right time.
Lesson learned, you never know till you try, ask, or fail.
